About the role

We are proud to be rated Outstanding by the CQC, and we are now looking for a committed and professional Medical Secretary (Bank) to join our Medical Secretary team at The Horder Centre.


Main Duties

* Produce accurate correspondence, clinic notes, and medical documentation with exceptional attention to detail.
* Manage consultant diaries and clinic workflows to support seamless patient journeys.
* Handle patient enquiries with warmth, professionalism, and confidentiality.
* Maintain accurate electronic and paper records in line with organisational and clinical standards.
* Liaise effectively with consultants, clinical teams, theatres, and reception to support smooth operational delivery.
* Uphold our values through excellent communication, integrity, and a patient‑centred approach in every interaction.


About You

* Experience in medical secretarial work.
* Excellent typing and document production skills, with strong accuracy and grammar.
* Confidence using digital systems, including Microsoft Office and patient management software.
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks calmly and efficiently.
* A commitment to providing an excellent patient experience every day.
