We are looking for a dynamic individual to lead our Communications function as we build our strategy for the future of community services across Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire. This is a pivotal role for Sirona as it will lead all aspects of internal and external communications.
This role reports to the Chief People Officer and has regular contact with the Chief Executive and Chair. It is a senior role advising the Board and Executives on communication strategies.
Ideally, candidates will have extensive experience in the public sector at a similar level, with a proven track record in delivering influential campaigns, brand development, and reputational management.
The successful candidate will work with an award-winning team to deliver creative and tailored campaigns that engage stakeholders and collaborate with leads across our integrated system, NHSE, and UKSHA.
Key skills include contract management, presenting complex information, accessibility, and promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion, supported by a broad network of contacts.
A significant part of the role involves managing relationships with stakeholders such as media, MPs, and partner organizations to promote Sirona’s work, develop its brand, and navigate service changes and public consultations effectively.
Internally, the post holder will provide senior management to the Communications team, ensuring a skilled team focused on inclusive internal communications and professional standards.
The post will also serve as the strategic communications lead for EPRR, working closely with health and social care leads, NHSE, UKHSA, and the Local Resilience Forum.
