Beechwood College are looking for a motivated staff memberwith an interest in Occupational Therapy and Speech and Language Therapy tojoin our team. This position would suit those interested in the professions andwho may want to go on ad train as a qualified practitioner. You will be joininga great multi-disciplinary team of staff who provide timed and appropriatesessions and assessments. The role also includes some admin work such ascollecting data and writing notes. You will be supervised by a QualifiedTherapist and be part of an important team.
Main duties of the job
The Joint TherapiesAssistant will deliver group and 1:1 person centred therapeutic interventionsunder the guidance of the SALT / Occupational therapy team. They will alsoprovide administrative support to the wider clinical team to ensure the smoothrunning of the service.

Role Responsibilities
Clinical Duties
Be able to contribute to the planning and preparation of resources as directed by the SaLT and OT team.
To carry out regular group and/or 1:1 therapy sessions with students in a range of environments.
To contribute to the monitoring and evaluation of interventions implemented by the SaLT and OT team.
To complete in-person audits when required.
To model communication aids to staff and students ensuring to advocate for their use.
To regularly feedback to designated therapist within the clinical team.
To maintain adequate records in line with policies and guidelines.
9. To maintain databases with direction from the clinical team.
Administration Duties
10. To participate in the process of ordering materials and equipment.
11. To take responsibility for the safe storage, provision, use and maintenance of equipment and materials.
To contribute to the maintenance of clinical records & data analysis.
Performs clerical duties within the department, including maintenance of client files and records under the direction of the therapist.
12. To carry out other administrative tasks in relation to the service as required.
13. To maintain stationary stocks.
14. Archive students files as required.
15. Support the team in pursuing outstanding paperwork.
16. Maintenance of the shared work drive.
17. Filing, scanning and photocopying as required.
