Automotive Paint Technician – Body shop (automotive) We are one of the UK’s Largest Independent S.M.A.R.T Repair Companies. The Job * Monday – Friday * 08:00 – 17:30 * £35,000 - £40,000 basic uncapped commission * Liverpool L3 * 20 days holiday bank holidays birthday off (29) Duties A successful candidate will be responsible for completing repairs on vehicles that are booked in with our Liverpool Bodyshop. You will be completing checks that the vehicles have been masked and prepped correctly, setting up and using a spray gun, mixing paint, matching colours, using primer, lacquer and filler. Additionally acknowledging safety regulations and assessing the job is able to be carried out. Repairs will be completed from start to finish by yourself. Repairs on vehicles will include: * Minor scuffs and scratches * Paint blemishes * Stone chips * Bumper scuffs * Wings / doors sprayed * Small dents * Cosmetic repairs on alloy wheels Experience * Minimum of 3 years experience within a paint spraying environment * Preferably automotive / motor trade background but not essential * Familiarity with power tools and hand tools used in paint repair Requirements * Valid full UK driving licence * Knowledge of filler application * Able to paint a minimum of 2 vertical panels and blend * Right to work in the UK * Strong customer service * Good time keeper * Basic maths and English required * Been in previous customer facing roles * Great attention to detail * Skillset Assessment and Interview Please APPLY NOW for immediate consideration
