Portfolio Procurement has been engaged by our leading Bedfordshire based client to recruit for a Supply Chain/Demand Planner. Primary responsibility of the role: To provide support to the process of the Demand and Inventory planning forecast, ensuring uninterrupted supply to customers. Day to day duties: Working with key stakeholders to create accurate demand planning forecasts Providing key demand analysis Validating purchasing plans and progressing through to placement of orders Identifying potential stock shortages and taking corrective action Monitor supplier performance Experience and Qualifications required: Educated to A level or equivalent Previous experience in a Demand or Supply Chain environment Strong analytical skills Strong computer skills including Excel Experience using an ERP system INDPRO 49799DH
