Key Responsibilities
* Lead, supervise and support workshop staff across a range of technical activities
* Maintain high standards of workmanship, quality and consistency
* Oversee stock control, material procurement and quality checks
* Diagnose issues and provide hands-on technical support when required
* Plan and coordinate workshop jobs to maximise efficiency and meet deadlines
* Ensure full compliance with health and safety regulations and best practice
* Communicate effectively with clients, suppliers and internal teams
* Maintain accurate records, reports and documentation
* Conduct performance reviews and support ongoing staff development
* Foster a positive, collaborative and productive working environment
Experience & Qualities
* Previous experience in a workshop supervisory or management role
* Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills
* Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
* Confident with IT systems and administrative tasks
* Technical understanding of fitting out or conversion work within automotive, yacht building, horsebox or similar industries (advantageous but not essential)
* Relevant trade qualifications or certifications (preferred but not essential)
