They are looking for an experienced Azure Sales Director to lead the growth of the business and scale out their new Azure Solutions Sales Team, focusing on Azure Data, AI, and Apps.
The Role
As Azure Sales Director, you will lead the Azure Data + Apps solution sales team, setting strategic direction and driving growth.
Reporting directly to the CEO and COO, you will shape customer engagement, Microsoft relationships, and the Azure ecosystem.
This role involves building relationships, influencing stakeholders at all levels, and making a significant impact on clients’ digital transformations.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Driving Growth: Cultivate new business and expand existing customer relationships.
* Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute growth strategies with senior leadership.
* Partner Relationships: Manage co-sell partnerships with Microsoft and other vendors.
* Solution Excellence: Deliver presentations, scope projects, and craft proposals.
* Team Builder: Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of Azure Solutions Executives.
* Thought Leadership: Represent the company, influencing stakeholders from technical teams to executives.
What We’re Looking For
* Proven experience in Azure solutions, sales or technical leadership.
* Strong knowledge of Azure Data Platform and Application Modernisation.
* Experience with Microsoft or a Microsoft Partner is essential.
* Understanding of Microsoft’s business model, sales segmentation, and funding programs.
* Experience working with Microsoft teams and a strong professional network in Azure.
* At least 5 years in pre-sales, consulting, or related roles.
Bonus Points For:
* Existing customer relationships and end-to-end solution selling skills.
* People management experience, including mentoring and leading virtual teams.
* Azure certifications (AZ-900, SC-900, or similar) or willingness to obtain them.
