We’re seeking caring and experienced 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistants for long-term placements across both mainstream primary schools and specialist SEN settings in the Bristol area. These roles involve supporting children with a range of needs including autism (ASC), speech and language difficulties, ADHD and social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) challenges.
Whether you're experienced in SEN support or looking to build your skills, we have full-time positions available now and for upcoming terms.
What we’re looking for:
1. Experience supporting children with SEN, ideally on a 1:1 basis
2. Knowledge of common SEN such as autism, ADHD, SEMH or speech and language needs
3. A patient, calm and empathetic approach
4. Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust with pupils
5. Ability to follow EHCPs and work collaboratively with teaching staff and SENCOs
6. A valid, enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)
