We are currently recruiting Class 1 HGV Drivers for a temp-to-perm opportunity based in Stafford. This role offers steady, long-term work with clear progression for the right candidates.
Role Details Of Class 1 HGV Driver
* Temp to Perm position
* Depot-to-depot work no multi-drop
* Shift patterns available toClass 1 HGV Driver:
o 5 on / 3 off
o 4 on / 4 off
* Start window: Between 12:00pm (noon) and 11:59pm (3-hour start window)
* Pay Ratesof Class 1 HGV Driver:
o £15.00 per hour (Day shifts)
o £16.00 per hour (Night shifts)
o Higher rates on weekends and bank holidays
Candidate Requirementsof Class 1 HGV Driver
* Valid Class 1 (C+E) license
* Minimum 2 years experience as aClass 1 HGV Driver
* Valid CPC and Tacho cards
* Maximum of 6 penalty points (No DD, DR, or IN endorsements)
* This roleMAYinvolve 1 or 2 nights out a week - this is not always the case but we've been asked to make all applicants aware this company does have night out expectations
Key Responsibilitiesof Class 1 HGV Driver
* Drive Class 1 HGV vehicles for long-distance, depot-to-depot trunking
* Carry out daily vehicle safety checks
* Ensure on-time and compliant deliveries
* Maintain high standards of road safety and customer service
* Accurately complete paperwork and digital logs
