Head of Employer Relationships (Apprenticeships) – Doncaster College
Responsibilities
* Lead and Inspire: Supervise a team, provide mentorship and conduct appraisals to support their development. Manage a substantial budget and oversee departmental income generation.
* Build Relationships: Act as a college representative to a variety of external partners, negotiating and reconciling priorities to achieve cooperation and enhance our reputation.
* Innovate and Problem-Solve: Investigate complex issues, analyse information, and develop original solutions to challenges that have never arisen before.
* Curriculum: Play a vital role in the development of new courses and college policies by coordinating input from stakeholders to ensure our programs are relevant to employer needs.
Essential Criteria
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, including experience with formal presentations and negotiation.
* Proven ability to investigate and resolve complex problems through analysis and creative thinking.
* Experience in a leadership or supervisory role, with responsibility for staff appraisals and development.
* The ability to work independently and respond to unexpected situations with initiative.

Let's Teach The LET's teach programme supports new members of teaching staff in terms of college systems and key teaching and learning areas including new staff lesson visits and postcard peeps. Each new member of staff has an allocated Lead Practitioner who works closely with them throughout the programme.
Let's Bloom
The LET's Bloom Programme aims to connect our experienced and qualified teachers to share best practice and support continued risk-taking as we continue to add depth to our teaching craft. Teachers volunteer on this one year programme, working closely with the Learning Enhancement Team, capturing their experimentation in a journal.
