The Infrastructure Solutions Group (ISG) Technical Support Engineer is a key member of the Lenovo Services Delivery team. We seek a customer-focused professional with strong problem-solving skills. As a Tier 2 Cloud Services Technical Support Engineer, you will support Azure customers with industry-leading products.
Responsibilities:
* Research, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to Azure Stack HCI, Azure Kubernetes Service, Windows Server, and other Azure products.
* Document technical inquiries and develop knowledge base content.
* Support pre-release testing, validation, and documentation initiatives.
* Provide technical support to clients via phone, chat, and ticketing systems.
* Collaborate with Level 3 and development teams to resolve complex issues.
* Transfer knowledge and train clients and colleagues.
* Manage end-to-end case resolution as the primary contact for Microsoft Premier Support.
Basic Qualifications:
* 3+ years of technical support experience with Windows Server, Azure Stack HCI, Azure Stack Hub, and Azure Kubernetes Services.
Preferred Qualifications:
* 3+ years experience with virtualization platforms like Hyper-V, VMWare, KVM, etc., with relevant certifications.
* Knowledge of snapshotting, replication, high availability, and disaster recovery.
* Experience with public cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
* Experience with ticketing platforms like Jira, Dynamics 365, or Salesforce.
* Strong communication skills and customer engagement experience.
* Knowledge of Storage Area Networks, storage technologies, and data center hardware.
* Experience with datacenter procedures, hyperconverged platforms, and server remote management tools.
* Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, and PowerShell.
