This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a busy environment, enjoys face-to-face customer interaction, and takes pride in delivering excellent service. In this role, you will be working across both the Lowestoft and Great Yarmouth branches, supporting the team in providing a first-class trade counter experience. From serving customers and advising on products, to maintaining stock levels and ensuring the counter is always presentable, you’ll play a key part in driving sales and delivering outstanding service. Key Responsibilities * Serve customers quickly and professionally, offering advice and guidance on products * Upsell and cross-sell to maximise turnover * Accurately enter all transactions into the system * Restock and maintain the trade counter area, ensuring a clean and organised environment * Support wider team tasks when required, such as answering calls or assisting with picking and packing Requirements * A people person with strong communication skills and the ability to stay professional under pressure * Positive, hard-working, and solutions-minded, with a strong team ethic * Physically fit and able to handle heavy loads * Confident IT user with good attention to detail * Previous experience in the construction sector or knowledge of materials/products is desirable (training will be provided) This is a dynamic, customer-facing role where your energy, commitment, and positive mindset will be key to your success
