Job Summary:
We are seeking an Assistant Manager to join our team in the hospitality industry. The ideal candidate will assist in overseeing the daily operations of our establishment, ensuring high standards of service and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate activities of staff in food preparation, kitchen, and front-of-house service
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness
- Assist in training and developing team members to deliver exceptional service
- Support the Manager in inventory management, ordering supplies, and controlling costs
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally
- Contribute to menu planning and participate in culinary activities as needed
- Assist with bar operations, including bartending duties when required
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role within the hotel or catering industry is essential
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire staff
- Proficiency in food production, culinary techniques, and kitchen operations
- Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation
- Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations
