Job Description Job Title: Supply Chain Development Manager Working Pattern: 37hrs pw Working location: Bristol/Hybrid An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Supply Chain Development Manager to join the Defence Future programs part of Aerospace Procurement capability in Bristol. Working in partnership with Governments, primes and new technology companies across the globe, we deliver future solutions, new and innovative power and propulsion concepts, technology, and applications to meet the customers emerging requirements What you will be doing: Lead the team in the development of a supply chain maturity assessment tool. Responsible for understanding the capability and/ or capacity gaps with the identified supply chain. Accountable for driving and leading APQP and PPAP for Defence Future Programmes activity within the supply chain Undertaking SABRe audits and ESCCA assessments for onboarding new suppliers Driving a cost culture into the programme working alongside other critical function Ensuring our supply chain provide good value for money. A degree at BA level, coupled with experience of working with supply chains and engineers and proven leadership at this level in a regulated or complex industry. Strong quality and ME skills demonstrated through a proven track record of successful supplier engagement activities at a senior level. Understanding of SABRe and other supplier certifications Passion to drive change and make a difference combined with ability to solve complex problems.
