We are looking for a Plant Supervisor to join the Frontier team, based at Sandy on a permanent full-time basis.
You will be responsible for running seed cleaning operations within our peak seed production periods; to ensure Health, Safety, Environment and Quality standards are met in line with legal requirements. Accountable for ensuring the seed cleaning plant runs smoothly during the quiet hours whilst supervising temporary employees.

Able to work unsupervised making sure health and safety and quality control are at the forefront of everything you do
Ability to adapt quickly to accommodate changing business and customer needs, while providing a responsive customer focussed service

Attention to detail providing high levels of accuracy

Your Role
As a Plant supervisor, your role will involve:
Making sure grain cleaning operations run smoothly and safely
Being responsible for other staff working alongside you
Consolidating bagged product within the warehouse, ensuring there is available space for the day shift to use
Communicating any issues to the day shift Operations Manager
Following procedure if any breakdowns or maintenance is required
Supporting the Operations Manager with other site tasks
Maintaining a high level of housekeeping standards across the site
