The role
As a Science Teacher, you will:
7. Teach Science across KS3 and KS4 (specialism in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics welcomed)
8. Deliver well-structured, engaging lessons that promote curiosity and understanding
9. Use a range of strategies to support pupils of varying abilities, including those with SEND
10. Maintain a positive and purposeful learning environment in line with school policies
11. Assess progress and provide clear feedback to support student development
12. Work collaboratively within a supportive department and wider staff team
This role is suitable for ECTs, experienced teachers, or those returning to teaching.
We’re looking for someone who:
13. Holds QTS (or equivalent UK teaching qualification)
14. Has experience teaching Science in UK secondary schools
15. Demonstrates strong classroom management and subject knowledge
16. Is committed to inclusive practice and safeguarding
17. Is reliable, adaptable, and professional
18. Is happy to work PAYE, with clear and transparent pay
Pay & contract
19. £163–£ per day, depending on experience
