SANZA Teaching Agency is recruiting an experienced Special NeedsTeacher for a dedicated Alternative Resource Provision (ARP) attached to a welcoming primary school in Barnet, North London. This specialist provision supports a small cohort of around 10 pupils in key stage 2 with Autism, ADHD, language and communication difficulties, and a range of additional learning needs.
This role is ideal for a passionate teacher with experience in special needs schools, SEND classrooms, or ARP settings, who is committed to making a meaningful impact on the lives of children with SEND.
The Role - SEN Teacher (KS1 / Autism / ARP)
* Plan and deliver high-quality, personalised learning for around 9 KS2 pupils with Autism and ADHD
* Support pupils' communication, social, emotional, and behavioural development
* Work alongside and manage two experienced LSAs providing clear direction and support
* Work with the SENDCo, parents, therapists, and external agencies to create tailored provision
* Adapt teaching and planning to meet a wide range of abilities and needs
* Foster a calm, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment
About You - What We're Looking For:
* Teachers with experience teaching in a special needs setting, ARP, SEND school, or specialist provision
* Are flexible, proactive, and genuinely passionate about SEN education
* Communicate confidently with staff, families, and external professionals
* Can motivate, inspire, and support pupils through patience, creativity, and consistency
