Role Description
This is a full‑time on‑site role for a CHP/Generator Engineer based in Worksop. The engineer will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, maintenance, diagnostics, and repair of CHP systems and generators. Day‑to‑day tasks will include monitoring system performance, troubleshooting technical issues, conducting preventative maintenance, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards. The individual will collaborate with the technical team to deliver high‑quality services to clients and provide recommendations for system improvements where necessary.
Qualifications
* Technical expertise in CHP systems, power generation, and generator maintenance
* Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills for mechanical and electrical engineering systems
* Experience with preventative maintenance practices and implementation of safety protocols
* Basic proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment
* Ability to work effectively in a hands‑on, on‑site environment
* Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with technical teams and clients
* Relevant engineering certifications or qualifications; possession of a driving license would be beneficial
