Job Title: Behaviour Support Worker
Location: Plumstead, South East London
Salary: Scale 3 : GBP7,140 Actual (GBP16.13 per hour)
Job Type: 10 hours per week, term time only plus 1 week (39 weeks per year), Permanent
Working Hours: 12:15pm - 2:15pm, Monday - Friday
Closing Date: Friday 30th January at midday

About The Role
As a part time Behaviour Support Worker your role will be to supervise students and to uphold the schools behaviour code and framework.
You Will
* Supervise and monitor students across the site during lunch time, ensuring timely transition to lessons
* Understand and implement the schools Behaviour Policy issuing rewards and sanctions as appropriate
* Support staff in implementing a restorative approach in promoting positive behaviour for learning
* Carry out First Aid duties (training will be provided)
* Support student prefects and ambassadors in carrying out their roles
About You
* You should have level 2 qualifications or equivalent in English and Maths
* Youll need previous experience of working with children and young people
* You should also have a commitment to the schools Equal Opportunities Policy
* Experience in a secondary school or youth work setting is desirable
