Introduction
This is a rare opportunity to join a nationally significant infrastructure programme at a pivotal stage of delivery. As Baseline & Change Manager, you will operate at the centre of a complex, high-profile project that will power six million homes with low-carbon electricity for decades to come.
You will work alongside experienced project controls professionals, influencing decisions that genuinely matter while developing your career on one of the UK’s largest construction programmes. Hybrid working and multiple locations make this a flexible, long-term opportunity with real impact.
Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate and facilitate baseline and change management activities across the delivery programme
* Act as the central point of contact for change control queries and guidance
* Support development and maintenance of baseline management strategies and procedures
* Integrate schedule, cost, risk and governance inputs into end-to-end change control
* Ensure governance and reporting cycles are followed consistently
* Produce high-quality weekly and monthly baseline and change reports
* Review and assure the quality of change proposals against approved baselines
* Advise project teams and supply chain partners on change control standards
* Facilitate change requests for engineering and delivery teams
* Deliver training and guidance on change management processes and tools
Qualifications & Requirements
* Degree-level qualification or equivalent professional experience
* Experience in programme, project controls, commercial or project management
* Strong understanding of change control principles and WBS/CBS structures
* Knowledge of governance, risk management and major project delivery
* Excellent facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills
* Ability to work effectively in complex, regulated environments
* Familiarity with project controls tools and reporting processes
* Experience working with contractors or consultants (desirable)
