Overview
We are looking for a kind, reliable, and enthusiastic Personal Assistant to support our cheerful young son both at home and out in the community. He is a happy, smiley boy who loves playtime, singing, building with toys and blocks, and watching Peppa Pig. The role is primarily for weekends (ideally Saturdays) with flexibility for additional hours or weekdays during school holidays. This is a rewarding opportunity to support a lovely young boy in his day-to-day enjoyment and development through play, companionship, and gentle encouragement.
Responsibilities
* Personal grooming
* Eating and drinking assistance
* Moving and handling
* Companionship
* Dressing / undressing
* Bathroom assistance
* Helping our son to mobilise or lift into his chair or buggy
* Encouraging him to drink
* Other relevant duties as required
Requirements
* Respectful of the employer\'s privacy and confidentiality
* Reliable with good timekeeping
* Able to both follow instructions and work on own initiative
* Hygienic, tidy and well organised
* Fit and healthy to undertake the required duties
* Patient and possess excellent interpersonal skills
* Honest and cheerful
* Creative
* Able to speak and read English to a reasonable standard
* Must be comfortable with pets
* Able to always work to high standards of health & safety
* Non-smoker preferred or someone willing to refrain from smoking during working hours
