The role We're looking for a skilled and proactive IT professional to play a key role in supporting, maintaining, and enhancing our infrastructure and cyber security services across a multi‑office environment. The activities Clients Effectively plans and manages own workload, adapts to new information, and solves problems by identifying information gaps. Delivers confident presentations to all audiences and maintains strong, inclusive relationships with users. Keeps user needs central to decisions and is willing to travel between offices when required. Leadership Takes ownership of issues, works within clear accountability structures, and provides guidance and supervision to less experienced colleagues. Leads and delivers IT infrastructure projects with a collaborative mindset. Business Management Proactively monitors and supports cyber security tools and IT infrastructure, including installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and administration. Ensures system performance, secure device management, reliable backups, accurate asset records, and effective cloud and on‑premise operations. Technical Excellence Creates accurate technical documentation, provides escalation support, and bridges communication between Service Desk and Technical Services. Demonstrates solid networking knowledge, broad IT awareness, strong analytical skills, and the ability to quickly learn new technologies. Communicates effectively, solves complex problems, and manages technical projects in a multi‑office environment. The person Good working knowledge of IS infrastructure (hardware, databases, operating systems and networks - WiFi and WAN, Cloud platforms). Experience and exposure to Cyber Security monitoring products eg. Windows Defender or SIEM technologies Experienced in the systems to support business functions or processes, eg Microsoft 365, document production / document management systems, practice management system. Familiar with networking concepts Proficient in the role of first and second-line user support. Familiar with concepts and practices required to implement effective IT solutions. Experienced in working in supporting a multi-office environment. Working with IT colleagues on all sites.
