Job Description
As an Associate Fire Engineer, you’ll typically work on a variety of projects at once – from a university in Scotland to a high‑rise residential tower in London, and many international engagements. The goal is to enable innovative architectural design while maintaining robust fire safety standards.
* Run through design information and liaise with other WSP disciplines such as facades, acoustics and structures.
* Present designs to local authorities and the Fire Service.
* Advise the design team on changes that improve the safety of the building.
* Assist with professional registration via IFE and other organisations.

Requirements
* BSc (BEng) or MSc (MEng) in Fire, Structural, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
* Extensive experience within the fire engineering consulting industry.
* Flexible to work from any of our UK major offices.
