Senior Registered Nurse - Pre Assessment
The Princess Margaret Hospital in Windsor is part of Circle Health Group, Britain's leading provider of independent healthcare with a nationwide network of hospitals & clinics, performing more complex surgeries than any other private healthcare provider in the country.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Registered Nurse to join our friendly and motivated team in the Pre Assessment department. This is a part-time role at 30 hours per week with flexible shift patterns. Salary: Up to £36,000.00 FTE per year (depending on experience, training, and qualifications).
Duties of this role include:
* Deliver high-quality nursing care and lead on assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care for complex patients.
* Use advanced clinical knowledge to make timely and appropriate decisions, escalating where necessary.
* Administer medication safely and monitor patient responses, adhering to NMC and local protocols.
* Delegate tasks appropriately, ensuring safe workload management across shifts.
* Maintain a culture of safety by ensuring compliance with infection prevention, safeguarding, medicines management, and risk reporting procedures.
* Act as a key contact for patients and families, providing updates, reassurance, and information to support shared decision-making.
* Liaise effectively with the multidisciplinary team to coordinate care and ensure smooth transitions.
Applicants should meet the following criteria:
* Active NMC registration as a Registered Nurse (Adult).
* Significant post-registration experience in an acute or relevant clinical setting.
* Proven leadership, mentoring, and support skills within a nursing team.
* Strong clinical decision-making, problem-solving, and time management skills.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a compassionate, patient-focused approach.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
* Previous experience in a senior or supervisory nursing role is desirable.
