Commercial Manager – Facilities Management
A leading Facilities Management provider is seeking a Commercial Manager to oversee FM contracts worth approximately £25 million. The role is ideally based near Solihull, with flexibility for remote work and occasional travel to sites.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage commercial processes to optimize financial returns and ensure compliance.

Review payment mechanisms, KPIs, and contracts to identify risks and opportunities.
*
Support the negotiation of subcontractor agreements and handle variations or disputes.
*
Collaborate with operational teams to track and capture all billable work.
*
Oversee invoicing, monitor outstanding debts, and ensure timely payments.
*
Use systems like CAFM (Concept), Orbit, and HFM to meet financial and contractual obligations.
*
Contribute to lifecycle plans, budgets, forecasts, and monthly profit reporting across multiple contracts.
*
Support bids by reviewing contractual terms and financial proposals.
About the Candidate:

Experience in Facilities Management, ideally on complex contracts such as PFI and JCT.
*
Strong knowledge of PPM, cleaning, catering, and lifecycle planning.
*
Professionally qualified, with membership of a relevant industry body preferred.
