Role: Controls and Automation Service Engineer Location: Cheltenham Type: Permanent Salary: £45,000-£50,000 Are you an Electrical Controls and Automation Service Engineer and looking for a new challenge? Then look no further, my client based in Cheltenham specialises in design, build and installation of bespoke control systems and factory automation systems. This is typically for materials handling, conveyors, vision inspection and robotics. This is a very exciting role which includes regular travel (70%) and onsite work at their customer sites in the UK, Ireland and North America. Controls and Automation Service Engineer – Job Description Expected to work both at our premises and on client locations Accountable for bringing projects into operation through electrical installation and machinery commissioning Providing after-sales maintenance and attending to equipment faults Tasked with fitting control panels and overseeing the on-site assembly of machinery and automated systems Must be adaptable and willing to travel - When not on the road, you’ll be based onsite, assisting with pre-installation build activities.
