Business Development Executive Location: Bracknell Salary: Up to 30,000 plus £12,000 commison Hours: Full-time, 37 hours per week Full time / Permanent We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Executive to focus on lead generation and new business growth within the HVAC, construction, or market intelligence industries. This role requires a proactive individual with strong sales experience, excellent communication skills, and a determined “go-getter” attitude. As a Business Development Executive, you will play a critical role in expanding the client base, developing new business opportunities, and driving revenue growth. Business Development Executive Role: Proactively generate new leads through cold calling, networking, and market research. Achieve or exceed weekly, monthly and quarterly sales and activity targets. Develop and execute tailored sales strategies targeting specific client personas and market segments. Build and maintain a strong pipeline of potential clients across OEMs, component manufacturers, and distributors. Establish and nurture relationships with senior decision-makers such as Sales & Marketing Directors, Product Managers, and Strategy Directors. Present and promote syndicated market reports to prospective clients. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client requirements are met. Maintain accurate CRM records and track opportunities through the sales cycle. Stay up to date with industry trends, competitor products, and market developments. What We’re Looking For: Essential: Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in lead generation or business development in a related industry. Proven B2B sales experience, ideally in HVAC, construction, or market intelligence. Strong cold calling and lead generation skills. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Self-motivated and results-driven with strong attention to detail. Ability to manage priorities effectively and work independently as well as part of a team. Proficiency in CRM systems and MS Office. Desirable: Experience with SaaS, DaaS, or B2B data-driven services. Familiarity with Sugar CRM, Dimensions, or Focalpoint.
