Business Development Executive
Location: Bracknell
Salary: Up to 30,000 plus £12,000 commison
Hours: Full-time, 37 hours per week

Full time / Permanent

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Executive to focus on lead generation and new business growth within the HVAC, construction, or market intelligence industries. This role requires a proactive individual with strong sales experience, excellent communication skills, and a determined “go-getter” attitude.

As a Business Development Executive, you will play a critical role in expanding the client base, developing new business opportunities, and driving revenue growth.

Business Development Executive Role:

* Proactively generate new leads through cold calling, networking, and market research.

* Achieve or exceed weekly, monthly and quarterly sales and activity targets.

* Develop and execute tailored sales strategies targeting specific client personas and market segments.

* Build and maintain a strong pipeline of potential clients across OEMs, component manufacturers, and distributors.

* Establish and nurture relationships with senior decision-makers such as Sales & Marketing Directors, Product Managers, and Strategy Directors.

* Present and promote syndicated market reports to prospective clients.

* Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client requirements are met.

* Maintain accurate CRM records and track opportunities through the sales cycle.

* Stay up to date with industry trends, competitor products, and market developments.

What We’re Looking For:

Essential:

* Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in lead generation or business development in a related industry.

* Proven B2B sales experience, ideally in HVAC, construction, or market intelligence.

* Strong cold calling and lead generation skills.

* Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

* Self-motivated and results-driven with strong attention to detail.

* Ability to manage priorities effectively and work independently as well as part of a team.

* Proficiency in CRM systems and MS Office.

Desirable:

* Experience with SaaS, DaaS, or B2B data-driven services.

* Familiarity with Sugar CRM, Dimensions, or Focalpoint.
