About the Role
As a Service Advisor, you will play a vital role within the dealership, acting as the key point of contact between customers and the workshop. You will ensure customers receive a professional, friendly and high‑quality service from initial booking through to vehicle collection.
Key responsibilities include:
* Acting as the liaison between customers and the workshop
* Booking vehicles in for service, maintenance and repair work
* Setting clear customer expectations on timescales and repairs
* Keeping customers informed throughout the service or repair process
* Upselling additional products and services where appropriate
* Ensuring customer satisfaction levels remain consistently high
* Following up with customers after their visit to confirm satisfaction
About You
To be successful as a Service Advisor, you will have:
* Previous customer‑facing experience (essential)
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* A customer‑focused approach with strong relationship‑building ability
* The ability to work well under pressure in a fast‑paced environment
* Confidence meeting targets and managing deadlines
Previous experience as a Service Advisor or within the automotive industry is advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided.
