About The Role
NB the rate of pay is dependent upon experience; newly qualified nurses will start at £18.27 per hour, rising to £19.30 after one year post-qualification/registration experience.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver and oversee person-centered care, continually assessing residents' needs and wishes, and developing services to enhance their quality of life.
* Champion independence and personal choice; develop, review, and update care plans to meet changing needs.
* Manage medicines on your shift, ensuring proper receipt, storage, and administration in accordance with policies and legislation.
* Build and promote the positive reputation of the care home; communicate professionally with visitors, families, and stakeholders.
* Ensure positive resident experiences from admission to discharge.
* Participate in inspections by RQIA, Trusts, and CCGs, ensuring readiness at all times.
* Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and best practice guidelines; proactively manage risks and report issues.
* Maintain rigorous monitoring and documentation of all resident and staff matters.
* Promote teamwork and ensure high-quality care delivery.
* Support and mentor team members in line with NMC Code.
* Attend meetings and participate in professional development and revalidation.

Requirements
Required:
* NMC Registered Nurse
* Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
* Proficiency in IT and communication systems
* Ability to develop professional relationships
* Ability to work under pressure and motivate teams

* Experience with quality and clinical governance, audits, and care services
