This is an exciting opportunity to join an Ofsted rated 'Good' college in the North East on a temporary to permanent basis.
Previous teaching experience is ideal but not a requirement. If you are an experienced Electrician with a desire to shape the lives of 16-19 learners and apprentices in their educational journey and early careers, this could be the role for you!
If you have previously trained and/or mentored apprentices, this could be a transferable skill to help you transition into a college Lecturer role where you can make a positive impact on learners and be well rewarded for your work!
What You Get
While on a temporary basis, you can earn between £730 and £950 per week AFTER TAX!
A consultant will be available to help and advise you throughout the process.
When transitioning to a permanent role, you can expect a salary of up to £46k, up to 52 days of annual leave, and 28.6% employer contributions to your pension!
What You Need
* A Level 3 qualification or higher in Electrical Installation.
* An Enhanced DBS check either on the update service or dated within the last 3 months, or willingness to obtain one.
* A desire to pursue a teaching/lecturing career.
* A teaching qualification or willingness to obtain/work towards one.
