Job Description:
We are proud to be partnering with an award-winning rail organisation, who are looking to appoint a Decarbonisation & Energy Manager on a permanent basis.
This will be a full-time position based in either London or Birmingham, with hybrid working (maximum of 2 days home working) and a salary of £45,000.
The ideal candidate will have a demonstrable background and expertise in data collection, analysis, and producing data reports.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
* Delivering energy-efficient and decarbonisation-focused business practices, reporting processes, and strategies
* Ensuring the organisation meets their strategic goals & targets regarding decarbonisation, science-based targets, and traction and non-traction energy
* Improving energy efficiency by evaluating energy use and implementing new technologies, policies, and changes where needed
* Developing and delivering decarbonisation initiatives to reach net zero goals
Experience required:
* Demonstrable background in analysis of carbon use, energy, and water impacts
Skills, knowledge, and expertise required:
* Ability to work in a pressurized environment to meet deadlines
* Knowledge of carbon footprinting and emissions
Working hours:
* 35 hours per week
* Monday to Friday
