We are currently supporting an NHS organisation by upgrading their PatientCentre application, the Patient Administration System used by the Trust. This is a critical clinical system used across the entire hospital to manage patient appointments and flow. As such, the Trust recognises thorough testing of the application to be key to the success of the planned upgrade.
This will be a hybrid role with the opportunity to work from home. This role is inside IR35 paying £30.21 per hour.
* Develop manual functional test scripts from the content of application release notes and existing training materials.
* Contribute to the creation of an application test plan.
* Complete application functional testing.
* Report on test progress, quality metrics, and release readiness in line with project delivery governance
* Complete defect logging, tracking, and resolution; ensure traceability from requirements to test cases to fixes
* Provide feedback and recommendations for training material creation and/or amendments.
* Support staff completing User Acceptance Testing.
* Ensure compliance with the Trust Digital security policy.
* Work collaboratively to understand business challenges and ensure the PAS upgrade meets user and organisational needs.
Skills & Experience
* Solid experience in software testing, specifically hands-on manual testing experience.
* Proven track record of test delivery within the NHS, preferably, but not limited to the PatientCentre application.
* Strong understanding of testing methodologies.
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
