At Intact Insurance, this role plays a key part in supporting customers at the moments that matter most. As the first point of contact within our Claims team, you will help ensure customers feel listened to, supported and guided through the claims process with care and clarity. Your work will directly contribute to Intact’s goal of delivering fair, efficient and customer‑focused outcomes, while protecting the interests of both our customers and the business. You’ll make an impact by:
* Act as the first point of contact for customers, policyholders and third parties, handling enquiries via telephone, email and online portals.
* Accurately capture and record claim information to ensure cases are progressed through the correct process.
* Provide clear, professional guidance to customers throughout the claims journey, managing expectations and delivering a positive experience.
* Liaise with internal teams, brokers and approved suppliers to support timely claim resolution.
Your skills and experience:
* Customer service experience, ideally within an insurance or financial services environment.
* Good communication skills with confidence handling telephone and face‑to‑face customer interactions.
* High attention to detail with the ability to accurately capture and record information.
* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
