Skilled Production Operative
Salary: £30,000 - £32,000 DOEHours: Monday - Friday, flexible working hours with an early finish on FridaysHours per week: 39Overtime: Available at enhanced ratesLocation: Close to Maidstone
We are recruiting for a well-established, successful, and growing organisation based close to Maidstone. This is a rare opportunity for a Skilled Production Operative to join the team and learn the business from the ground up, with full training and development provided to help you learn a skilled trade.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a hands-on manufacturing environment and has a genuine interest in engineering or production processes.
Duties & Responsibilities
* Operating machinery within the production environment
* Assembly of products
* Supporting colleagues with a variety of production tasks
* Manual handling of materials and components
* Packing and dispatch of finished goods
* Updating customer orders on the system
* Disposing of recycling and waste products correctly
* Learning new skills and manufacturing processes
* Working safely and following all health & safety procedures
Requirements
* Eagerness to learn new techniques and machinery
* Ability to work effectively as part of a small team
* Strong attention to detail and a focus on quality
* Experience using hand tools and/or machinery
* Previous experience in a manufacturing or factory environment
* Interest in engineering or manufacturing processes
