Job Description: Kitchen Assistant - Part Time
We currently have an opportunity for an energetic individual to join our Ancillary Staff Team in our residential care home for older people as a part-time Kitchen Assistant. Our Ancillary Team is instrumental in maintaining resident rooms and shared spaces, and they pride themselves on providing excellent service to everyone in the home.

Responsibilities:
1. Prepare breakfasts for the residents;
2. Support the cook to prepare and serve lunch to the residents;
3. Wash up the catering equipment and utensils;
4. Maintain the general cleanliness of the kitchen and catering equipment;
5. Ensure all water and other spillages are cleaned up immediately after they occur;
6. Maintain kitchen records as required by your manager.
We offer a full induction to the work and provide additional training as required by the post.
About you:
* You enjoy working with older people and can empathize with them;
* You can operate laundry equipment safely and reliably;
* You work well as part of a team to provide excellent service to our residents;
* You are well-organized, practical, and adaptable.

Hours:
Part-time: 18 hours per week
Shifts: 7am to 1pm or 10am to 4pm (or a mixture of both)
