Elevation Recruitment Group are working with a packaging company in Nottingham to recruit a Maintenance & Facilities Manager to join their team. Reporting to the Operations Manager the Maintenance & Facilities Manager will be responsible for the management of maintenance, tooling and setting, providing an asset management service to the factory. Responsilble directly for 2 Maintenance Team Leaders and indirectly for 6 Maintenance Engineers. Duties of the Maintenance & Facilities Manager include: Assist in Tooling/equipment supplier management including selection, negotiation, and performance monitoring Provide support to the sales and commercial teams in technical discussions with existing and potential new customers Co-ordination and management of production line trials to Support the Operations Manager in the management of Manufacturing OEE and resourcing of improvement projects Support the Quality Team to ensure all products are produced to specification and any manufacturing defects are identified and remedied promptly Maintenance of facility – buildings, roads, services Assist H&S Manager in compliance of:- pressure vessel regulations, lifting equipment regulations, asbestos management, and cooling tower maintenance. Monitor and control external technical, maintenance, and tool-making costs We are looking to speak with Maintenance & Facilities Managers with the following skills/experience: Maintenance Team Leaders or Maintenance Supervisors will be consider Experience in plastic/rubber manufacturing Knowledge of engineering standards and best practices e.g., RCM, Six Sigma Green Belt IOSH managing safely Knowledge of continuous improvement techniques.
