About the Role
A forward-thinking construction consultancy is seeking an experienced Chartered Building Surveyor (MRICS) to lead and develop a brand-new Building Surveying division within the business.

Key Responsibilities

Establishing and leading the Building Surveying department

Developing and expanding service lines within the business
*
Winning new work and strengthening existing client relationships
*
Delivering a full range of building surveying services, including:

Contract administration
*
Dilapidations
*
Planned preventative maintenance
*
Technical due diligence
*
Condition surveys
*
Project management
*
Overseeing project delivery across public and private sector clients
*
Recruiting, mentoring, and growing a high-performing team
*
Contributing to business development strategy and revenue growth
*
Ensuring compliance with industry regulations and best practice
Requirements
*
MRICS qualified (essential)
*
Strong background in Building Surveying within a consultancy environment
*
Proven experience delivering projects independently
*
Commercial awareness and business development capability
*
Leadership qualities with the ambition to grow and manage a team

Excellent client-facing and stakeholder management skills
*
