Job Title: RE Teacher
Location: Barnsley (S70, S71)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract type -Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time
Are you a passionate and reflective RE Teacher who can inspire students to explore different beliefs, values, and ethical perspectives?
Schools in Barnsley (S70, S71) and GSL Education are seeking a passionate RE Teacher to deliver engaging and thought-provoking Religious Education lessons.
As a Religious Education (RE) Teacher, you will support students in developing critical thinking, understanding diverse worldviews, and reflecting on moral and spiritual questions. You will create a respectful classroom environment where students feel confident to discuss and explore ideas.
Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver engaging RE lessons with clear learning objectives.
* Encourage respectful discussion about different religions and ethical topics.
* Monitor and assess student progress effectively.
* Support students in developing critical thinking and cultural awareness.
* Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom engagement.
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
* Experience teaching Religious Education in a school setting.
* Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
* Good communication and organisational abilities.
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
