Position: Import/Export Clerk
Location: Shepperton
Job Type: Full-time – Office Based – Mon-Fri – 0900 -1730
Key Responsibilities:
* Coordinate and oversee multimodal transportation activities including air, sea & road.
* Liaise with carriers, vendors, Overseas agents and clients to coordinate shipments and resolve any operational issues.
* Manage documentation, customs clearance, billing and compliance requirements for international shipments.
* Provide excellent customer service, ensuring client satisfaction through effective communication and problem-solving.
Requirements:
* Airfreight, Road, Sea freight and Customs experience.
* Strong understanding of international shipping regulations, customs procedures, and documentation.
* Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple shipments simultaneously.
* Proficiency in logistics software (CargoWise, Descartes) and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Effective communication skills and a customer-centric approach.
