You will be joining an established and well-respected Tier 1 contractor based in Swindon operating within the water industry. This multi-accredited and high-profile contractor delivers large-scale clean and waste water capital programmes for Thames Water and offers a strong pipeline of AMP8 works as well as excellent opportunities for career progression and professional development. Due to continued success, they are actively seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team.
This is a full-time permanent position based on site in the Thames Valley region with hybrid working.
Your new role
As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering a £45m portfolio of clean and waste water pipeline and reservoir projects. You’ll manage allmercial aspects of subcontract accounts, from procurement through to final account, while supporting project teams on large-scale capital programmes. Key responsibilities include:
1. Preparing monthlymercial reports and submitting AFPs
2. Managing subcontract accounts from procurement through to final settlement
3. Cash flow and cost/value forecasting
4. Supporting project teams on allmercial matters to ensure successful delivery.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful, you will bring:
5. Degree/HNC/HND in Quantity Surveying (or similar) or experience equivalent
6. Proven experience with IChemE and/or NEC contracts and subcontract management
7. Sound negotiation, organisational andmunication skills
8. Strongmercial acumen
9. Full UK driving licence.
