Mechanical Design Engineer

What you’ll be doing as a Mechanical Design Engineer :
Designing and developing advanced electro-mechanical products to meet specifications, budgets, and timelines
Producing clear, accurate design documentation for manufacturing, assembly, and servicing
Driving continuous improvement through design reviews and product optimisation
Applying industry standards to ensure safety, compliance, and reliability
Collaborating with production engineering and supply chain teams to take prototypes to full production
Supporting quality and environmental management processes
Researching and applying new technologies, materials, and design techniques
What we’re looking for as a Mechanical Design Engineer:
Degree in Mechanical or Product Design Engineering
At least 3 years’ experience in design engineering within a manufacturing environment
Strong proficiency in SolidWorks and related CAD tools
Knowledge of manufacturing techniques including CNC machining, sheet metal, injection moulding, casting, welding, coatings, and 3D printing
Practical, hands-on approach to solving engineering challenges
Sharp attention to detail and drive to deliver high-quality, reliable products
