Junior Video Producer / YouTube Video Producer
Department Overview
A key department within Space NK, the marketing department are responsible for creating campaigns that engage current customers and drive new customer acquisition. The department consists of four teams: brand partnerships, content marketing, digital marketing and own brand marketing.
Role Purpose
As Junior Video Producer, you will support in the organisation and implementation of YouTube content to help grow the channel's presence through innovative, edutaining content, to drive reach and engagement on the channel. You'll have a strong understanding and passion for video production for both short and longform content and a keen interest in YouTube. You will report into the Copy & Editorial Manager and work closely with the wider Marketing team to deliver high quality YouTube content. The Junior Video Producer will be primarily responsible for the day-to-day co-ordination and execution of YouTube video, creating head-turning content that is entertaining, engaging and drives brand awareness.
Main Responsibilities
* Implementation of the content strategy on YouTube by coordinating the end-to-end production process for YouTube content including working with wider team to brief & arrange talent for onscreen content, creating briefs, coordinating product samples and props.
* Responsible for day-to-day execution & publishing of content on YouTube, including working with external videographers to deliver content to deadline and to a high standard.
* Collaborate with the Copy & Editorial Manager to develop concepts & storyboards that effectively solve user search queries.
* Optimise & upload all content for best practice SEO to ensure maximum visibility on YouTube.
* Ideate and deliver engaging ideas for content formats and styles for both longform and shortform YouTube content ensuring search visibility is the goal
* Work with wider Marketing and Commercial teams to ensure smooth flow of content plans to support new product & brand launches where relevant.
* Day to day budget coordination for content creation spend on YouTube.
* Stay up to date with all trends across YouTube & all platform updates to adhere to best practices.
Key Skills
* Strong understanding of video production best practices - experience with YouTube would be a bonus.
* Strong content creation skills, including filming and video editing for YouTube Shorts.
* Confident and comfortable on set with the ability to put talent at ease.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, reactive environment.
* High attention to detail.
* Excellent multi-tasking and organisational skills.
* A problem-solving approach.
* Excellent interpersonal skills with a confident ability to communicate and influence effectively.
* The ability to prioritise, use initiative and perform under pressure.
* A proactive and flexible approach with an ability to present new ideas. Passion for the beauty industry.
