The Company
MTrec Commercial is supporting an industry-leading manufacturing client in their search for an experienced and highly motivated Sales Coordinator. The Role
You’ll Be Doing:
* Specification sales in a sector-specific context
* End-to-end project management
* Converting new customers through prospecting, cross-selling, and up-selling
* Positioning materials in applications and aiding in design selection
* Building and maintaining relationships with clients, including architects, builders, and designers
* Developing and strengthening relationships within the A&D community
* Managing pipeline and pipeline conversion
* Full portfolio specification role
* Identifying projects via lead generation sources
* Gaining key contacts for each project
* Monitoring project stages
* Presenting marketing materials via Teams
* Supplying samples and brochures, following up with calls and meetings
* Building a contact portfolio for future projects
* Maintaining regular communication with external specification teams
The role hours are Monday to Thursday, 08:00 – 16:30, and Friday 08:00 – 16:00, with potential for hybrid work (3 days on-site, 2 days remote) after training.
The Person
Essential Knowledge and Experience:
* 2-3 years of telesales experience
* Excellent communication and organizational skills
* Highly proactive and self-motivated
* Technical sales skills
* Self-starter and result-oriented
* Experience in lead generation
* Proficient in CRM software, especially Salesforce
* Ability to sell products and concepts
* Ability to manage multiple priorities
* Computer literate (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
Desirable but not essential:
* Industry knowledge in manufacturing
* Previous experience in a specifications role
