Hours of work:
Monday - Thursday: 07:00 - 3:30 pm (45 minutes lunch)
Friday: 07:00 - 2:30 pm (1 hour lunch)
This is the perfect position for someone who has some experience working within a transport/logistics office and understands working time directives and vehicle telematics.
Key responsibilities of the Transport Administrator:
1. Collating drivers’ hours both electronically using Tachomaster software and manually
2. Controlling drivers’ hours and ensuring compliance with Working Time Directives (WTD) regulations
3. Managing and monitoring PODs and liaising with the IT department on any scanner issues
4. Collecting signed paperwork from Drivers
5. Taking calls from Drivers with regards to issues downloading and scanning their loads, helping to resolve issues, and escalating where needed
6. Filing and checking in all vehicle defects to ensure all are accounted for
7. Inputting monthly fuel figures and MPG
8. Ordering and controlling all fuel cards
9. Updating bespoke FORS software with all PCNs and fuel usage
10. Handling all PCNs and either recharging them to drivers or appealing them where parking has been paid
