We have an exciting role on offer within our Environmental Services as a Environment Operations Manager.
Are you ready to lead transformative change across one of Middlesbrough’s most important frontline services?
We’re looking for an experienced and forward-thinking Environment Operations Manager to drive the strategic direction, performance and development of our services.
To be successful in this role you need to be educated to degree level in Management add example e.g. Management Degree or Equivalent professional qualification (NVQ level 5 or above, CIPD).
You will also need to hold a professional Certification in IACCM/NEBOSH/Prince2 or PMP and a full clean UK Driving License.
As the Environmental Operations Manager, you will provide strategic leadership and set the priorities, policy and direction of our strategic Waste team.
You’ll oversee a wide portfolio including waste contract management, liaising with the Waste Manager in relation to waste disposal, recycling, allotments and sustainability, ensuring services operate, efficiently, safely and in line with legislation, environmental permits and Council objectives.
This is a high impact role where you will shape long term strategy, manage major projects, lead service transformation and support the delivery of modern, sustainable waste solutions fore the people of Middlesbrough.
