About the Role
As a Maths Teacher, your responsibilities will include:
* Teaching Mathematics across Key Stages 3–5, including GCSE and A-Level.
* Planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to students of all abilities.
* Monitoring and assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback, and setting targets.
* Contributing to curriculum development and departmental planning.
* Supporting co-curricular activities such as maths clubs, competitions, and enrichment projects.
* Creating a positive, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment.
* Collaborating with colleagues within the department and across the school.
Experience and Qualifications
* Degree in Mathematics or a related discipline.
* PGCE or QTS qualification.
* Experience teaching Maths at secondary level, including GCSE and A-Level.
* Strong subject knowledge and excellent classroom management skills.
* Enthusiasm for promoting student engagement, problem-solving, and numeracy.
