Responsibilities
* Join team meetings, workshops, and practical training sessions.
* Work across different departments—Production, Logistics, Purchasing—to see how everything fits together.
* Help improve product designs and assemblies.
* Use CAD software to create and develop engineering ideas.
* Research new technologies that could make our manufacturing even better.
* Take part in New Product Introduction projects.
* Learn all about health & safety.
* Strengthen your critical thinking.
* Keep a diary of what you’ve learned and the projects you’ve worked on.
* Build great relationships with engineers and technicians.
* Get feedback, share your ideas, and contribute to improvements.
* Gain confidence and experience that will set you up for your future career.
* Attend college one day a week to gain your engineering qualifications.
Qualifications
* A genuine interest in Engineering & Manufacturing.
* Good time management and willingness to learn.
* Problem‑solving skills and a positive mindset.
* Computer skills (CAD experience is a bonus).
* Able to ask questions, get involved, and work well with others.
* GCSE English – Grade 4/C or above.
* GCSE Maths – Grade 4/C or above.
* Technology subject – Grade 4/C or above (Engineering‑related preferred).
