PageGroup are delighted to support a highly established manufacturing organisation based in Redditch with the appointment of an Interim Employee Relations Specialist to join a busy HR function for circa 6-12 months, with possible scope for extension/permanent in future.Due to the nature of this sector, this role requires fully office-based working.Applicants looking for full-time or part-time hours can be considered.
Job Description
Working within a small HR Team, the role of Interim Employee Relations Specialist will provide first-class HR support to a wide range of stakeholders at this busy manufacturing site. This will include but not limited to:
3. Take full responsibility for a wide range of employee relations casework, providing timely and first-class HR advice
4. Liaise with trade unions onsite
5. Provide data-analysis to management and leadership around the employee relations casework, assisting to identify trends
6. Upskill line managers to deal with people matters effectively
7. Support with the development and implementation of new HR policies and procedures
8. Support with other generalist HR matters as and when requirement
9. Support the CPO with HR projects and initiatives as and when required
The Successful Applicant
A successful Interim Employee Relations Specialist for this role should have:
10. Proven experience in a similar role within an industrial/manufacturing setting
11. Experience within unionised environments
12. Competent at dealing with a wide range of employee relations casework
13. Comfortable working within a busy, fast-paced, changeable environment
