Our client is a leading, respected, family-run manufacturer with over 100 years of heritage producing high-quality products. Due to continued growth and success, they are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to report to the Supply Chain & Customer Service Director.
The Role
You will oversee and optimise the end-to-end supply chain, including procurement, production planning, inventory management, logistics, and supplier relationships. This is a key role ensuring efficient operations, cost control, on-time delivery, and alignment with business goals.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement supply chain strategies
Manage procurement and supplier performance, working closely with the Outsourced Manager on vendor selection
Optimise inventory levels, reducing excess and obsolescence
Oversee logistics, warehousing, and distribution
Lead the Despatch function, including a Team Leader and team of four (goods-in, stores, and 3PL shipments)
About You
Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field
5+ years' experience in supply chain, logistics, or operations management
Strong knowledge of procurement, inventory, and logistics
Experience managing teams within an SME environment
Proficient in ERP and supply chain planning systems
