Purpose of the Role
At ESY, we meet young people where they are. As a Youth Worker, you won't just be delivering sessions, you will be a creative architect of our programmes. You will provide the space, tools, and confidence young people need to thrive across our school-based projects, street engagement, community sessions, and our innovative Digital Programme.
Key Responsibilities
1. Programme Design & Delivery
* Lead the design and delivery of high-quality, inclusive youth programs that respond to the evolving needs of the community.
* Facilitate engaging group work and one-to-one sessions in various environments (schools, community hubs and street work).
* Integrate creativity and "magic" into sessions to ensure high levels of participation and impact.
2. Youth Engagement & Support
* Build authentic, professional relationships with young people to act as a mentor and advocate.
* Support young people's personal and social development, helping them build resilience and life skills.
* Champion the Digital Programme, engaging young people through modern platforms and technology.
3. Safeguarding & Professional Standards
* Maintain the highest standards of safeguarding, identifying and reporting concerns in line with ESY policies.
* Collaborate with parents, educators, and community partners to create a holistic support network for youth.
* Accurately monitor and evaluate outcomes to demonstrate the impact of our work.

Requirements
Qualifications
Essential: Level 3 qualification in Youth Work (or equivalent).
Experience
Proven track record in designing and delivering youth programmes. Experience in school-based and/or street-based engagement.
Skills
Strong group facilitation skills; ability to engage hard-to-reach youth; digital literacy.
Personal Attributes
Warmth, creativity, and a "can-do" energy. A genuine passion for empowering young people.
